Earrings with meaning!

The most important food base for the indigenous communities near the Amazon and Orinoco river basins is the yucca brava, a tuber that if eaten raw is poisonous. However, since the land was difficult to plant, the indigenous communities managed to make yucca the basis of their diet. After a meticulous processing exercise, the yucca loses its lethal properties and is converted into a variety of preparations based on the dough, such as cassava. The Yuca earrings pay tribute to this important food for the region.

These earrings are handmade out of bronze covered with a 24 karat gold layer.  A piece that tells a story and defines your style!

Because Sara & Jenny have a strong belief in regards to their environmental footprint, they use natural materials that could present normal discoloration. It is recommended that you avoid exposure to liquids and extreme heat. Always store your jewelry separately to avoid scratching.
