These woods are routed to the artisans with the certificate of origin which means they come from a renewable source and are legitimate. The frame has been pressed with high resistance glue to ensure their quality over time. The lenses are made of CR 39 with a UV filter 400. CR39 (or diallylcol carbonate) is an organic material (resin) that has several advantages such as: more resistant to impact, lighter, less likely to fog in addition to absorbing more ultraviolet. No dye is used on the wood to maintain its colors and original properties. They are waterproofed with wax and natural oils.
