Made by the women of the Kuna communities of northern Colombia, the Mola is a textile art form unique to them, and their textiles are incorporated into a variety of wearable art such as shoes, wallets, and purses. There are no two alike since each Mola bears the imprint of the woman who has masterfully sewn the fabric.
